One of the requirements is a force number as proof of employment during service in the SANDF.
Members currently serving in the SANDF must also complete the bank debit order details in the event of exceeding the limit for deductions on persol.

The SAMHS Fund membership is open to serving members in the SANDF as well as members Out of the Force who served in the SANDF.

Life Members
Contributors become life members after contributing to the Fund for more than 10 years when going on retirement.
To continue with the Funeral Plan members must still pay a premium once a year.
The Funeral Plan is not for free.
Deduction of the premium towards Siyavika will take place January of each year.
